Welcome to Thunder Road, the on-line home of the Sand Mountain Thunder baseball club.

Because the Thunder is a 9U Kid Pitch Tournament Team comprised of boys from across North Alabama, travel is part of their game. Hence the name, Thunder Road.

Here you'll find news about the team, a schedule of upcoming games, details about our latest victory, valuable information about our sponsors, and ways you can support the team. But that's not all. You can also use Thunder Road to travel to other youth baseball sites or to comment or ask questions.

Winter Countdown Pairings Announced

The brackets for our first tournament have been released and can be found at http://alabamausssa.org/2008schedulehuntsvillemar8. However, there is some chance that they could be tweaked before Saturday.

Currently, we are scheduled to play the Huntsville Panthers at 7:45pm on Friday night on Field 3 and the Arab Knights at 10:00am Saturday morning also on Field 3. Remaining opponents will be determined by seeding teams following these first two pool play games.
